GOD'S INTENTION FOR HIS MISSION
Rom 10:13-15 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. How, then, can people call on someone they have not believed? And how can they believe in someone they have not heard about? And how can they hear without someone preaching? And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are those who bring the good news!"
God intended His mission to be carried out by people who are sent and live from the donations and support of those who join the task as senders. Jesus lived from the support of faithful men and women who donated throughout His lifetime and ministry. He made his intention about it clear about it. If the harvest is plenty and that most will not go unless they are sent, providing support for people to go may be one of the greatest contributions to the greatest need in the world in God’s eyes.
Luk 8:3 These women continued to support them out of their personal resources. 1Co 9:14 In the same way, the Lord has ordered that those who proclaim the gospel should make their living from the gospel. Winds International obeys God’s intention by depending on the obedience of people God attracts to fund His work.
What You Can Donate
There is joy and security in giving ones ressources for the propagation of the Kingdom. In the economy of God the giver does not lack but rather sow what grows and multiplies. Given time everything we make as wealth may be rotten but what a giver invests in the Kingdom of God dwells. the only true protection comes from understanding that God supplies all of our needs “according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus,” when we seek first the kingdom of heaven, and are helping to build His kingdom.
2Co 9:6-11: Remember this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you must give what you have decided in your heart, not with regret or under compulsion, since God loves a cheerful giver. Besides, God is able to make every blessing of yours overflow for you, so that in every situation you will always have all you need for any good work. As it is written, "He scatters everywhere and gives to the poor; his righteousness lasts forever." Now he who supplies seed to the farmer and bread to eat will also supply you with seed and multiply it and enlarge the harvest that results from your righteousness. In every way you will grow richer and become even more generous, and this will cause others to give thanks to God because of us because this ministry you render is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, it is also overflowing with more and more prayers of thanksgiving to God.
